Host a One Million Rising Community Resistance Gathering

Labor Day Protest, south side of City Park, Monday, Sept. 1, 11 am – 1 pm

Workers over Billionaires! And democracy over oligarchy! Join us to protest the illegal firing of members of the federal workforce — without cause — from the V.A., Social Security, Dept. of Education, Treasury, Labor, HHS, CDC, and all Federal Agencies. Join us to protest the removal of the Rule of Law from our country.

Join us for songs, speeches, and protest at City Park!

11 am-12 pm: Guest speakers at the Band Shell:

  • Sydney Carlin, Representative in Kansas House
  • Ethan Corson, Candidate for Kansas Governor
  • Christy Cauble Davis, Candidate for US Senator

12 pm- 1 pm: Protesting on the South side of City Park, across from City Hall, along Poyntz from 11th to Manhattan Ave.


Daily Protests 4:30-6:00pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; 11:00am-1:00pm Saturdays

For August, the semi-daily protests are along McCall Road (across from Freddy’s). For September, the Protests are moving to Triangle Park, off Anderson Ave and Manhattan Ave.
